Dr. Dionne Mills-Sillik is a board-certified Obstetrician Gynaecologist. She is both a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (ACOG) and the Royal Australasian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).Originally from the Caribbean Island of Trinidad, she attended the University of Arizona, in the United States, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Spanish with a linguistics concentration, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physiology and a Chemistry Minor. She graduated with Honors from Ross University Medical School with her M.D. degree and completed Obstetrics and Gynaecology residency training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, USA in 2013.In 2021, she, her husband and their three children, moved to New Zealand. Dionne has been an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist Consultant at Middlemore hospital since 2021 and Head of Obstetrics since 2025. In 2023, she joined Auckland Urogynaecology where she provides general Gynaecology care. She is able to address gynaecologic concerns, such as vulval conditions, menstrual disorders and post-menopausal bleeding, as well as insertion of Intrauterine contraceptive devices. She offers annual Well Woman Examinations and provides hormonal as well as non-hormonal management of perimenopause and menopause. Dionne also provides surgical care including open, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures, including surgical management of fibroids and sterilization procedures. She currently does not offer colposcopy. Dionne is passionate about Women’s health and empowerment of women and girls through education. Her goal is that every visit leaves the patient more knowledgeable about their body than before they walked in. Dionne welcomes Spanish speaking patients who may prefer that their care be in their primary language.

I practice not just as a gynaecologist, but also as an obstetrician, and I currently lead the obstetrics department at Middlemore Hospital. This background means I am able to help with all aspects of reproductive and sexual health care, combining international experience with a commitment upholding Australasia's standards.

Not only do I aim to improve health literacy during every clinic visit, but I am also committed to sharing accurate information about women’s health with people everywhere. Through Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, I provide helpful education on topics like reproductive and sexual health, contraception, menopause, perimenopause, and gynaecological care. I also speak out against systems that negatively impact women throughout the world. Many patients connect with me on social media, often suggesting new topics and sharing their interests or worries, which helps me cover the issues that matter most to the community. I believe answering questions and encouraging open conversations are important for supporting women across Auckland and beyond.
